Meet Your Host
Cameron Holly Dexter is the creator, writer, and host of Patterns & Rituals. A podcast that examines why people do what they do, and how the stories we tell shape the world we live in. She is a journalist-trained storyteller and an award-winning independent film producer whose work has premiered at top festivals including Tribeca and SXSW. Her interviews have featured leading voices in psychology, criminology, and culture, including cult expert Dr. Janja Lalich, former FBI profiler Dr. Bryanna Fox, Amanda Knox, forensic psychologist Dr. Samantha Stein, and many others.Beyond podcasting and film, Cameron is also a visual artist with collage work exhibited in galleries across the country.She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her partner, Robert, their husky, and four chickens.
